BARSI 2012

Santji's 40th Salana Yaadgiri (Barsi) was held from 24th to 27th May 2012.

Ongoing Sewa Before Barsi 2012

Preparation for the biggest event is ongoing and many Sewadars have participated to ensure this event will be a memorable one.

Sukha Parshad

Sukha Parshad was prepared on 13th May 2012. Sewa began at 9am in the morning and ended almost 1.30pm. For these sewa, many Sewadars came forward to join hand in hand and complete the task. Sdr Jaspal Singh, one of the sewadar, said that for this year, 180kg of Sukha Parshad was prepared in anticipation of the coming Barsi which is also the 40th Barsi of Santji.

Besides this sewa, the ladies also took to task preparing 'sakerpare' and 'mithayian', cookies which are well known among Sikhs.

Before Barsi

80 Akhand paths are ongoing now since early March. Sewa is done by various Sangats and Langgar is provided daily for all.
